Declarix packages up the ideas of an information management system (IMS) in a Web 2.0 product. As a Web 2.x Rich Internet Application Technology (RIA), Declarix allows you to build Web 2.x applications/information systems, addressing user-driven content, self-assembly, mash-ups, collaborative & social networking services.

• Declarix features IQL ^tm (Information Query Language), a high level, declarative meta language used to capture in one place all the diverse pieces of a business application. IQL is packaged with Declarix IMS, an engine that works with any RDBMS system and a Web Server to execute IQL directives. In the same way that an RDBMS engine interprets and executes SQL, the Declarix IMS engine interprets and executes the Declarix IQL^tm.

• Declarix Designer is used to define new applications, reports, forms, workflow, etc. in a visual WYSIWYG and interactive manner, requiring no programming skills, all the while displaying dynamically changing IQL.

• Declarix Modeler is used to define, create, modify and maintain the underlying data model for an information system; it can evolve throughout an information system’s life-span, from conception to deployment.

• Declarix enables users to develop information systems to handle a multitude of complex business requirements. Users will be able to develop applications and information systems entirely over the Web in a rich Web 2.0 RIA (Rich Internet Application) environment.
